Frequently Asked Questions

Event Details

- When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony will take place on June 6th, 2026 at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. The ceremony begins at 1 PM. Drinks and dinner will follow at the reception, which will take place at Henley Estates directly following the ceremony.

- What should I wear?

We kindly ask our guests to wear semi-formal attire! For men, think suits or a sports coat with dress pants and a dress shirt. For women, think cocktail or midi-length dresses. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be at a Catholic Church, and dress appropriately. If you feel so inclined, you may bring a shawl or wrap to wear for the ceremony.

- Is there a dress code color to avoid?

Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream to allow the bride to shine in her dress.

- What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1 PM, so we are recommending arriving 30 minutes early to park, find your seat, and settle in.

- I'm not Catholic, do I need to do anything differently?

We will not be partaking in communion during our ceremony, so all guests are welcome to take part. We ask that you simply be respectful, regardless of your own affiliations.

- Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

No, the ceremony and reception are about 36 minutes apart. Guests are asked to head directly to the reception site following the ceremony, where a cocktail hour will be ongoing.

- Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. The bar for the reception will be located on a covered porch outside the main reception space.

- What should I do if I can't make it?

We'll miss you! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Photography & Social Media

- Can I take photos during the ceremony?

No. We ask that you please respect the sanctity of our marriage ceremony by keeping all phones and cameras away until the ceremony is finished. We have hired a team of professionals to capture the day for us, please be respectful to the working professionals and allow them to do their jobs.

Kids & Plus Ones

- Are children invited?

While we adore your little ones, we are keeping our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out!

- Can I bring a plus-one?

We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your formal invitation are invited. If your invitation says "+1" or includes a guest's name, then we'd love for them to join! Plus-ones are not listed on Save-the-Dates.
